Veteran Nollywood actor, Obinna Nwafor, well known in the Nigerian movie fraternity as Saint Obi, has passed away after a short illness.
Sources state that Nwafor, famously known for his role in blockbuster movies including ‘Candle Light’, ‘Goodbye Tomorrow’, joined his ancestors last Sunday May 7, 2023 at the age of 57 at his sister’s house in Jos, Plateau State.
The news of the movie star’s demise was confirmed by Saint Obi’s colleagues in the film industry. He was reported to have been treating an unspecified illness and had visited hospital for treatment for months before he passed away last Sunday.
