The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially resumed nationwide voter registration, allowing eligible Nigerian citizens to register for the voter database ahead of forthcoming elections. The exercise is part of INEC’s constitutional mandate to maintain an updated and inclusive electoral register, ensuring that all qualified voters have the opportunity to participate in the democratic process.
Registration centres across the country have been activated, with officials ready to assist applicants in completing the required procedures. Prospective voters are encouraged to visit their local INEC offices or designated registration points with necessary identification and documents to have their names entered into the voter register.
