Imo State Government and Zenith has since the Court order requesting the immediate payment of the entitlements due to the Former Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere, gone into a politically sponsored media battle whilst ignoring the facts waiting to destroy them.
As if been lawless wasn’t enough, they further decided to unseal Zenith bank branches that were earlier sealed with a Court Order on the 2nd of June, 2022 as well as attacking and abducting the Court Officials who were carrying their Legal duties. This very unreasonable act by the government in Collusion with Zenith Bank was indeed a bullet in their very own chests as the Court retaliated instantly shutting down the entire Owerri Judicial Division indefinitely.
If only both Imo Government and Zenith Bank knew the gravity of this Court order and the punishment following their uncivilized lawless reactions then they will definitely find it difficult to find sleep.
Recall that Imo state government and Zenith Bank had over three years to prove to the court why the payment shouldn’t hold and yet they couldn’t do that only to expect that floating social media propaganda about what they feel should be the payment, will help them succeed in not releasing the entitlement of Prince Eze Madumere, MFR.
Pitifully as it sounds, both Imo State government and Zenith bank will surely not be able to survive using politics to fight Clear detailed facts. Unfortunately for Zenith Bank, they will still not be able to operate their usual business activities till further notice.
