Ex – Deputy Governor, Madumere Visits Aide, Condoles Him Over Mother’s Passing

Former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere has extended his goodwill to one of his trusted aides, Emma Abuh while condoling him over his mother’s passing.

The former Deputy Governor who was present on Friday during the funeral service of Abu’s Mother, late Hannah Abuh at the United Evangelical Church, Ejule, Ofu local government area of Kogi State described late Mama Hannah Abuja as a virtuous woman who left in her trail a legacy of godliness.

Prince Madumere described Hannah’s transition as celebration of life because she transited at the ripe age of five scores and fifteen.

His words: “Mama Hannah was a virtuous woman who lived a true Christian life. She never took things of the world seriously but God’s ordinances.

“God in His mercy granted her long life with good health until the God called her back home.

“Today, testimonies abound. I admonish us all to borrow a leaf from late Mama’s worthy life emulation.

“I must also say that one of the legacies Mama left was in his children, especially my aide Emma Abuh who has always stood up to be counted no matter the condition. Such character is rare and I give late Mama credit. Emma has been with me before Government and still here after Office, it shows dedication, commitment and character.

“There is no way I wouldn’t be here to cheer him up and share in the rites being accorded to Mama today.

“I pray God to grant them the grace to lead to remain on the path of Jesus Christ Mama had directed them.

“I pray God to grant us all long life Mama with good health even as we toil lead a life of Christ”.

In memory of Mama and her devotion to the Church, Prince Madumere made a handsome donation to the Choir and the Church.

In his response, Reverend Paul Ben commended for him for his appreciation of God.

He also encouraged Prince Madumere to keep in loving praise and worship, saying that in heaven, there would be neither preaching nor instructions but only praises. “Keep to it. Nothing should ever make you deviate from this path because that’s only what out God cherishes.

Pastor Dave Abu, older brother of the family also took time to appreciate the former Deputy Governor for adopting Emma as a son and for being a good father to him.


“I encourage you to keep being a good father. Rest assured that God will continue to bless you, expand your coast and grant you your heart desires in Jesus name – Amen”, he prayed to
