
The Abuja entertainment community has been thrown into mourning following the death of the father of renowned comedian and entertainer, Stainless Precious.
Late Nwaokike Precious Onyeamachi, aged 82, passed away recently at the Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital, Abuja, after a prolonged illness, according to family sources. He hailed from Oru East, Omuma Autonomous Community, Imo State, and was widely known for his deep commitment to faith and family.
In a heartfelt tribute shared via his social media platforms, Stainless Precious described his father as his best friend, writing:
“My beloved daddy just passed onto glory.”
Tributes have since begun pouring in from colleagues, fans, and well-wishers across social media, with many expressing their condolences and urging the entertainer to take heart during this difficult period.
A Life of Faith and Impact
Late Nwaokike Precious was a revered and devoted Christian who dedicated over 50 years of his life in pastoral service. A graduate of the Assemblies of God Theological School, Uwu, Edo State, he retired as a respected pastor and spiritual mentor to many.
He was the first son in a family of six, a father, grandfather, uncle, and community leader whose influence spanned generations.
One of the most striking tributes came from his son, who revealed that his father’s favorite hobby was reading the Bible.
“Daddy read the Bible 257 times and was on track to completing his 258th round before his passing,” Stainless Precious shared.
Burial arrangements are currently ongoing and will be announced in due course by the family.
